Dress # 26 "Say it in a circle and keep the world going around."
Buttons that do not "work".
-38 neckties formerly the skirt of dress #9 âNecktiesâ, since it was no longer practical in its intended form
-33 metal buttons accumulated over the years that were given to the kids, we do not collect them intentionally
-95 pin back buttons from as far back as the 1960âs
-9 hairclips from the 70âs and 80âs
-thread
-armature wire
-small flag from my costume when I was âFirst Lady Lucy Hayesâ
-2005 National Jamboree Staff lanyard with pins and other acquired stuff
-2010 National Jamboree Staff lanyard with pins and other acquired stuffâ¦added total pins is 10
Nametag is the button up by the neckline made by one of my cheerleaders when we tested out the new button machine circa 1989. My Powers Model ID button is below that, used to get into venues, circa 1977.
While cleaning and clearing, I would come across buttons in just about every drawer or container of stuff. Once gathered in one spot, the number cried out to be displayed.
