Nap-catfan
Number 12 in the Daily Doodle Diary Series of garment, this piece is based on a pattern from 1973. Following the silhouette of a traditional hippie era caftan, this updated version adds ruffled sleeves and a mock hoodie made from a thrift store skirt. A front zipper allows for easy access and side pockets are included for comfort. None of these updates are traditional to a caftan. As with all previous “Doodle” garments, lunch napkins record our daily life with all its ups, downs and boring elements. One day I am cutting the grass and the next, taking an angry cat to the vet.
