Opted Out of the Emotional Management Business
30 x 24
2010 / #10
A title inspired by my friend Linda over one of our monthly lunches. We were lamenting about the issues related to female members of our extended families. Having sorted through those ideas in other paintings, this one is about the mom caught in the middle who has decided to just tune it all out and allow the chaos of her daughters or daughters-in-law or whomever they represent, to just swirl on around her. The poor cat wishes to do the same.
