Catwoman…The Later Years
Catwoman…The Later Years
22 X 28
2010 / #7
Painted as a contribution to our the gallery animal rescue event, this piece remains true to my signature style while still fitting in with the cause at hand. In the lower left corner is a note from her former boy friend. A cat plays with a toy that should also give a hint. Catwoman can still fit into her modified “cat suit” and dons a wig to keep her old image alive. Cool whip is the only weapon she now uses, the old bull whip having been retired long ago. She has become one of those “cat” people, not yet a hoarder but definitely a soft touch. The cats have no faces because the painting is about my female figure and her environment. Fellow artists in the gallery contributed some ideas towards the completed piece.
